Safety video for Diamond Street PLANNING
We made these safety videos to emphasis the fact that we used fake blood and a rubber knife and that no one was hurt when we were shooting the trailer. We purchased the fake blood capsules from a local performing arts shop and the knife from Amazon.
Comic strip trailer PLANNING
We made this comic strip trailer so that we could gain some experience in using a camera and uploading the clips into Adobe Elements. We first chose the comic strip we wanted to use and croped each section down so that we had sepreate screen shots of each section of the story. We then filmed them from the screen and we each had lines to say, so that the short trailer would have some narration. When uploaded on to Adobe Elements we found a couple of problems. For example we found that the quality of the clips were very poor as they had been filmed off the computer screen. The camera work was also not of a high standard as it was quite difficult to film the right bits at the right point,keeping up with the narration.
We also made sure that we used several shot types to show expression of the characters within the comic strip.

Hollyoaks later trailer PLANNING
We used this trailer to help us design Diamond Street as we also wanted ours to air on E4.We used the same font,colour and design for the transitions between certain shots. The target audience of Hollyoaks is also the same for Diamond Street.. 16-24.
Who killed Archie Mitchell trailer PLANNING
We chose this trailer to base ours on as it features a "who done it?" The way that the trailer is set out inspired ours as it includes all the supects of the murder. The cuts and edits in this trailer are similar to ours as they cut to one suspect then the next.
